Job Description
Position Summary XCEL Padel is seeking an experienced, friendly, energetic, and reliable Front Desk Associate to join our team for evening and weekend shifts . The Front Desk Associate is the welcoming face of XCEL Padel and plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This position supports member check ins, court bookings, program registrations, retail and food and beverage transactions, membership inquiries, and daily club operations. Schedule & Availability This position is specifically for evening and weekend coverage. Weekday evening shifts with availability through 10 PM closing Saturday and Sunday availability required Weekend shifts may include daytime and evening hours Schedule may vary based on club programming, events, and tournaments Key Responsibilities Member Services & Guest Experience Greet members and guests warmly and professionally Check in members and assist with court and program reservations Provide accurate information about memberships, lessons, programs, events, and club amenities Answer phone and email inquiries Assist with member account and scheduling questions Promote memberships, lessons, programs, events, and other club offerings Capture prospective member information and support membership sales opportunities Collect member feedback and communicate relevant information to management Assist with tournaments, events, merchandise, and court logistics Manage loaner rackets, balls, and other equipment Club Operations Process retail, food and beverage, and other transactions through the POS system Maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby, and reception area Complete evening closing procedures Assist with event and tournament check ins Monitor club access and guest entry Perform periodic walkthroughs for cleanliness and safety Replenish merchandise and report low inventory Report maintenance or facility issues to management Administrative Support Assist with waivers, member information, and new registrations Maintain accurate shift logs and handover notes Support membership sales, lead capture, and administrative tracking as needed Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 year of customer service, hospitality, fitness club, front desk, or retail experience required Experience working directly with customers or members in a fast paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable learning scheduling, booking, and POS systems Professional, outgoing, and confident engaging with members and prospective members Reliable, organized, and able to multitask effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to follow club procedures Team oriented with a positive, service focused attitude Interest in padel, fitness, wellness, or hospitality is a plus Must be available weekday evenings through 10 PM closing and
