Front Desk Agent Overview:
We are looking for a customer-focused Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Weekend availability will influence $/hr & hrs/week. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of the property Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, aiming for complete satisfaction Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs promptly Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience Support night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy and reporting compliance Use bilingual or multilingual skills to assist diverse guests effectively Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person Assist with guest relations initiatives to foster a welcoming atmosphere in the resort or hotel. Close the breakfast area, restock food for next day and clean dirty dishes. Sweep and Mop the breakfast area and lobby. Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry. Make sure you are doing laundry throughout your shift.Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, resort, or hotel management is preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone etiquette
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure
