Job Description

Reception Job Description:
Paid Hourly, health and dental after the first 2 months, vacation after 6 months (2 weeks per year to start) and a 401k is offered after a year (the farm will match up to 4%). Main responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Welcome and greet guests, ensuring their comfort and offering refreshments. Answer and redirect calls in a professional manner. Manage email correspondence promptly and appropriately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and boardroom. Coordinate client and breeder visits, ensuring stallion showings are facilitated. Keep a daily visitor log and distribute visitor sheets. Assist with Horse Country Tour and give at least one per week. Update tour information as needed. (we have a person for this but will need and extra body trained for assistance on bigger tours and events) Ensure office supplies are stocked and maintain inventory. Handle mailing (FedEx) of packages and important documents upon request. Assist with Stallion Booking during breeding season. Uphold the appearance and cleanliness of the reception area. Undertake other duties as assigned. Organize and maintain afterhours Security for main gate
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with multiple telephone lines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Professional demeanor and appearance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Strong customer service orientation. Knowledge of and experience in the Thoroughbred Industry preferred
