Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in Amesbury, Massachusetts. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment while keeping front office operations organized and responsive. The person in this role will manage communications, support guest-facing services, and help ensure daily reception activities run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, clients, and staff with a detail-oriented approach while providing a positive front office experience.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries efficiently, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Coordinate front desk activities, including visitor check-in, general information support, and day-to-day reception coverage.
- Provide concierge-style assistance by responding to routine questions and helping guests navigate the workplace appropriately.
- Maintain an orderly reception area and support smooth communication between internal teams and external contacts.
- Handle inbound phone traffic effectively, ensuring calls are routed promptly to the appropriate departments or individuals.
