This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing front office operations, and ensuring smooth communication within the office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the overall efficiency of our practice. Fluency in Portuguese is required to effectively communicate with a diverse patient base. Additionally, the role involves performing insurance verification and assisting with dental office needs. Duties Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Manage front desk operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking in patients Verify insurance information accurately Assist patients with insurance questions and documentation processes Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence Communicate effectively in both English and Portuguese to accommodate diverse clients Support the team with additional clerical duties as needed Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Portuguese required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office or practice management software Knowledge of insurance verification procedures within a healthcare or dental setting preferred Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance and attitude Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
