Job Description

Endocrinology practice (Community Specialty Services) is seeking a enthusiastic Receptionist/administrative assistant to serve patients and the office team by greeting and helping with; scheduling appointments and ; obtaining referrals, prior authorizations, maintaining records and accounts; verifying insurance eligibility; checking benefits; and other duties.
Responsibilities:
Answers telephones, triage patient calls, send messages to appropriate staff Copay collection Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information. Manage fax inbox, voicemail and incoming emails Verifies Insurance Eligibility and Benefits Manage provide schedules Request and follow up on testing prior authorizations Obtains and Documents Referral Authorizations prior to patient appointment Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes All other duties as directed by the
Practice Manager Skills:
Excellent Telephone, Written and Inter-personal Communication skills An understanding of Insurance plans and
CPT / ICD-10
codes is preferred Familiarity with web-based Insurance navigation and overall internet and computer skills Possess both an individual and team-based work style, with a positive attitude
