Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Office Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset while performing administrative and front-desk support duties in a fast-paced contracting office environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, contractors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; manage front desk email and visitor inquiries.
Maintain visitor logs, access control documentation, and conference room schedules.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
Support administrative tasks such as document organization, filing, and scheduling.
Assist HR and Operations teams with onboarding coordination and meeting support.
Ensure the front office area remains orderly, stocked, and security compliant.
Coordinate with facility and IT staff for workspace or equipment requests.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
1-3 years of reception, office administration, or customer service experience (government or contractor environment a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong multitasking skills and professional composure under pressure.
U.S. citizenship required per government contract regulations.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with DoD or federal office protocols.
Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
Prior exposure to timekeeping, visitor management, or access control systems.
