Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our martial arts school. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students and parents, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role involves managing administrative tasks, handling customer inquiries, and supporting studio operations to create a positive experience for all members. Responsibilities Greet students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about class schedules, memberships, and studio policies. Process payments, registrations, and membership renewals. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area. Assist with scheduling appointments, trials, and promotional events. Communicate effectively with instructors and staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Handle basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing. Support the studio's marketing and customer engagement efforts through social media or outreach as needed. Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer service experience, preferably in a fitness or martial arts setting. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, and payment processing). Positive attitude and ability to work well with students, parents, and instructors. Interest in martial arts or fitness is a plus but not required. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. This position offers flexibility but does not include employee benefits. This is a part-time role with evening hours from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, scheduled 3-5 days per week based on business needs.
