Veterinary Receptionist

Job Overview Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue that offers afforable vet services from wellness appointments, surgical procedures, dentals, xrays and much more. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary clinic setting. Duties

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
• Answer high volume phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate patient records and client information in the system
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing payments
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members Skills
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
• Experience in animal handling and restraint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic administrative tasks
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
