Job Description
Position Overview The Salon Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the salon runs efficiently day-to-day. You'll manage client interactions from check-in to check-out, support sales goals through product and package recommendations, maintain inventory accuracy, assist with social media and marketing tasks, and help with opening and closing duties. You'll act as the anchor between clients, service providers, and leadership—ensuring every guest feels seen, valued, and well cared for. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Front Desk Operations Welcome every guest warmly and manage check-in/check-out with professionalism and care. Serve as the first and last impression of the Beaut. experience—anticipate needs and ensure smooth flow from service to retail. Handle phone calls, text inquiries, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling with poise and accuracy. Resolve client concerns with empathy and confidence while maintaining salon standards. Maintain salon cleanliness and ambiance throughout the day. Sales & Performance Goals Confidently recommend services, retail, and membership or package upgrades to elevate guest results and increase revenue. Hit and exceed weekly and monthly salon sales targets. Collaborate with the team to meet collective goals in client retention, retail performance, and service upgrades. Team Support & Scheduling Manage service provider schedules and coordinate daily appointments to optimize time and workflow. Communicate effectively between clients and staff to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Assist with provider setup and transitions when necessary. Administrative & Marketing Tasks Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including balancing the register and salon reset. Maintain accurate inventory counts, restock shelves, and place product orders when needed. Support management with small administrative and marketing tasks, including: Organizing social media campaigns and scheduling posts Helping with event planning and client outreach Updating promotional materials or visuals • Qualifications & Skills 1-2 years of experience in a salon, spa, or customer service environment preferred Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Sales-minded with the ability to confidently close package and membership sales Highly organized, reliable, and proactive with strong multitasking ability Comfortable using salon booking software, POS systems, and basic social media tools Professional, polished, and aligned with the Beaut. brand aesthetic
