We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient, and experienced team member to join an established full-service veterinary practice. This position is available for experienced veterinary receptionists only. We are unable to accommodate applicants who are seeking an introduction to the field. Applicants must have over 1 year continuous verifiable experience employed in a role as a veterinary receptionist in a veterinary facility (human healthcare fields, grooming/boarding facilities, or rescue organizations do not apply) in order to be considered. Applicants must have basic reception skills including but not limited to phone etiquette, typing, customer service acumen, multitasking ability, general companion animal care knowledge, etc. Part time hours are available. Weekend and holiday availability on a rotation is a must. Applicants are required to complete an application. Interviews are scheduled after applications and resumes have been reviewed. Our veterinary practice cares for companion animals, providing wellness care, illness care, and surgeries. We provide the latest in top quality care for our patients including digital radiography, laser therapy, tonometry, in-house lab testing, dentistry, surgeries, nutritional consulting, preventative care, chronic disease management, and more. Team members are cross-trained and expected to assist in all areas of the facility. Customer service experience in a veterinary setting is required and all applicants must be comfortable discussing patient care with clients in person and over the phone. Applicants must be able to work independently without supervision, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to the practice and our patients.
