Job Description

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following: Welcoming each guest and answering each phone call in a warm and friendly manner and with a smile; Answering all phone calls in a timely manner routing calls and distributing messages to appropriate parties; Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the reception area; Assisting Human Resources staff with administrative tasks as needed; Order and restock supplies for reception as needed; Accepting mail, packages, and other deliveries, storing items until appropriate parties receive delivered items; Maintaining a petty cash box and reporting to the Accounting Department as needed; Securing access to the visitors' entrance at opening each morning and at the end of each day; Responsible for operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained; Maintaining knowledge of key departments, personnel, and building layout in order to assist guests and staff; Managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining friendly, welcoming demeanor; Providing positive, warm, and friendly customer service in all interactions; Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere. Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Employee must be 18 years of age or older; High school graduate or equivalent; At least 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minimum typing experience; Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time; Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Salary Range:
$19.00 - $21.00, depending on experience.
