Here are some of the things you'll be doing: Research public records and examine titles to determine the legal condition of property title Knowledge of researching public records Ability to compile and prepare chains of title, and make abstracts of title with summaries of all matters and instruments of record Interpret deeds, easements, plats, leases, court actions, probates, and other documents impacting property ownership Complete documents that include title acquisition packages and title commitments Identify possible title defects, prepare title-related correspondence based on searches, opinion letters, title evidence, and prior policies Here's what we are looking for : Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, flow chart software, and deed plotting software Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal Self-discipline and motivation to perform tasks independently Ability to work under strict deadlines Ability to travel throughout the state to various courthouses 2+ years of title experience, mineral experience a plus Experience completing complex mineral title Real Estate License a plus Acquisition experience a plus If you are interested in joining the Emerald Energy team, apply today!
