As an Irrigation Technician, your goal will be to produce and perform work in a safe and efficient manner while exceeding customer expectations in quality and service.
Duties:
Manage weekly workloads for routes to ensure efficient work style and increased quality. Estimate services and support the sales team in selling work. Follow safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with crews to understand desired quality and hour outcomes. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, taking direction as needed. Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to job requirements. Perform other job duties as required, contributing to incidental activities. Participate in snow removal events during the winter months.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Landscape Water Management Operations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to consistently communicate efficiently and effectively in person and on the phone. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete required paperwork daily. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus. Valid driver's license is required.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's or Associate degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or related fields of study is preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Ability to move about the work site and perform extended periods of activity, including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of a workday.
