Job Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Crop/Swine Farm Technician, where your passion for farming will drive the success of our operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining prep for crops, precise animal handling and effective farm management practices. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to a thriving farm environment dedicated to excellence in agriculture and animal transportation. Responsibilities Assist in planting, cultivating and harvesting crops using various farming techniques and equipment. Handle animals safely and efficiently using proper techniques to prevent injury and stress. Maintain sanitation standards across all farm areas to promote healthy crops and livestock environments. Operate mechanical equipment such as tractors, tractor trailers, or other farm machinery. Record data related to crop growth, animal movements, manure handling and farm activities accurately for reporting purposes. Participate in heavy lifting tasks involving feed bags, equipment parts, or other materials necessary for daily operations. Qualifications Proven experience or strong interest in farming, agriculture, or animal husbandry. Knowledge of animal handling techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to perform basic math calculations, measurements, or record keeping. Commitment to sanitation practices that promote biosecurity and cleanliness on the farm. Experience working with livestock species such as swine is highly desirable.
