Job Description

Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Manufacturer to add an Industrial Maintenance Technician to their team in Prospect, OH. This is a temp to hire position with benefits after one calendar month of being hired on. They offer a 401K with a Safe Harbor company match and are a profit share company.
Job Description:
Industrial Maintenance Technician The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, enjoy understanding how things work, and possess a willingness to learn new skills. This role involves hands-on work with machinery, including troubleshooting, repairing, and reassembling equipment as needed.
Pay:
Starting pay will be between $52,000 - $60,000 per year and will be determined based on experience.
Hours :
Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm (Hours are subject to change. Weekends and OT as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery Operate machining tools as required to support production and maintenance needs Assist with changeovers Disassemble, evaluate, and reassemble machinery and components Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions Operate a forklift safely and efficiently Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical inclination and a curious, problem-solving mindset Electrical experience (a plus) Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLC programming (a plus) Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools and measure with calipers and micrometers Ability to work within tight tolerances Previous forklift operation experience
