Work includes diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment, preventative maintenance, welding/fabrication, and operating modern farm machinery during seasonal operations. Agricultural or diesel mechanic experience a must. Competitive pay DOE and year-round opportunity available. This is a hands-on position working with a wide range of modern and older agricultural equipment. Candidate must be someone who can diagnose and repair equipment, help keep the farm running during busy seasons, and operate machinery when needed. Operating a machine not a necessary but helpful. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain farm machinery and vehicles Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections Repair and maintain hydraulic, electrical, fuel, air, and mechanical systems Service tractors, trucks, trailers, sprayers, tillage equipment, harvest equipment, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery Weld and fabricate parts and equipment repairs when needed Use diagnostic tools and computer systems on modern equipment Keep maintenance records and communicate repair needs Assist with field operations and operate farm equipment during planting, harvest, spraying, haying, and other seasonal activities Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work independently and as part of a team during high-demand periods Must Qualifications Experience repairing agricultural, diesel, heavy equipment, or truck systems Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and drivetrains Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Experience operating tractors, sprayers, trucks, loaders, forklifts, balers, or other agricultural equipment CDL or ability to obtain one is a plus Strong work ethic and willingness to work seasonal overtime when necessary Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Good communication and problem-solving skills Experience with precision ag or GPS systems is helpful but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Stable, year-round employment opportunity Overtime opportunities during peak seasons Variety of equipment and work responsibilities Family-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow within a long-established farming operation Schedule Full-time Seasonal overtime during planting and harvest Pay DOE (Depends on Experience)
