Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and management of animals, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment, hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge Support planting, harvesting, pruning, and activities to promote healthy crop growth Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads, moving supplies, and maintaining farm infrastructure with safety standards in mind Manage animal husbandry tasks including livestock handling, breeding support, and ensuring proper shelter conditions Follow all safety protocols during operations involving heavy machinery or hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience with farm work or agricultural environments; familiarity with farming practices preferred Strong mechanical skills with the ability to repair and maintain farm machinery and equipment Experience operating agricultural tractors, forklifts, heavy equipment, and power tools safely Knowledge of animal husbandry practices including livestock management and animal handling techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor physical labor Basic math skills for measuring inputs or managing inventory records Understanding of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, greenhouse operations, and plant care is a plus Excellent safety awareness aligned with industry standards for production environments Supervising experience is advantageous for team coordination or leadership roles within the farm setting This role offers an exciting chance to develop your expertise across various aspects of farming while contributing to a thriving agricultural operation.
