Chief Engineer - TownePlace Suites Temple
Job Description
Wildflower Hotels is now hiring a dedicated and passionate Chief Engineer for our TownePlace Suites Temple. The Chief Engineer is primarily responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel's building and grounds and for the operation of its equipment and mechanical/electrical systems. Key responsibilities include keeping all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and completing maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotel's standard operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Maintain company and franchise maintenance standards for both guest rooms and public areas. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests. Resolve maintenance problems, complaints and work orders. Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacture. Service the hotel's pool including cleaning, appearance, and chemical balance and completing maintenance log. Maintain building exterior. Thoroughly complete maintenance logs. Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy. Follow and maintain a preventative maintenance program. Perform or assist with periodic or scheduled cleaning projects. Assist other departments when needed and perform other related duties as assigned.WORKING REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Will be required to work some weekends and holidays as needed. Will be required to work in fast paced environment. Will be required to be on call when away from work.EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent Hotel experience required. Previous Marriott and/or hotel/s experience preferred. Previous QUORE experience preferred. Physical Mobility and stamina required. Ability to follow instructions Detail-oriented Professional attitude is required Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable and relaxing environment.
