LAWN & LANDSCAPE

Job Overview The Lawn & Landscape Technician is responsible for providing high-quality lawn and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties. This position requires someone who is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a crew. The technician will perform a variety of lawn care, landscape maintenance, seasonal, and property-care services while maintaining a professional appearance and representing Ace Landscaping with our customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mowing, weed whacking, edging, and blowing Lawn and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties Commercial property maintenance, including: Mowing and trimming Weed whacking and edging Cleaning curbs, cracks, and property perimeters Weed control in landscape beds Pruning and trimming bushes as needed Removing litter and debris Blowing off walkways, sidewalks, and parking lots Bed maintenance and cleanouts Shrub and plant maintenance Planting and landscape installation Mulching and edging landscape beds Core aeration Overseeding and lawn restoration Fertilizer and lawn-care applications as trained and assigned Spring and fall cleanups Leaf removal and debris removal Snow and ice management when needed Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment Keeping trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organized Completing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance issues Taking before-and-after photos when required Following job-site instructions, schedules, and property notes Maintaining clean and safe work areas Providing professional and respectful service to customers

WORKING INDEPENDENTLY & WITH A CREW

This position requires the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team . When working independently, the technician is expected to: Understand the assigned scope of work Stay on schedule and manage time effectively Complete work thoroughly without constant supervision Recognize and address basic property needs Communicate questions, issues, or concerns promptly Maintain productivity throughout the workday When working with a crew, the technician is expected to: Follow the direction of the Foreman or Crew Lead Work cooperatively with other team members Help keep the crew productive Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and cleanup Communicate clearly with coworkers Take initiative when work is completed rather than waiting for direction

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active, outdoor position requiring the ability to: Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Lift and carry materials and equipment Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods Operate landscaping equipment safely Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
