Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks including digging, trimming, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during seasonal changes Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with system installation or repairs Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety Assist with general construction projects related to landscape design and hardscape installation while adhering to safety standards Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques Strong work ethic with physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Prior experience with snow plowing or irrigation systems is advantageous but not necessary; training will be provided for motivated candidates Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help craft vibrant outdoor environments!
