Job Description

Hale Farm Grounds/Maintenance Worker
RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible to the Maintenance Lead or Director
CLASSIFICATION
This position is classified as seasonal and non-exempt from overtime compensation.
SUPERVISION
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
COORDINATION
Under the guidance of the Maintenance Lead, works with Hale Farm & Village's departments and auxiliaries on a daily basis as well as for special events and programs.
DUTIES:
Landscape maintenance including, but not limited to, cutting grass, weed eating, trash pick-up, weeding, planting, mulching, cutting firewood and other duties as assigned. General site and vehicle maintenance including, but not limited to buildings, systems, and equipment. Undertakes other duties as assigned by Maintenance Lead of Hale Farm and Village
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to stand for long periods of time, Experience operating landscape equipment and chainsaw, ability to lift more than 50 pounds. Pleasant, honest, reliable, self-motivated, team worker, punctual, neat, with an ability to follow policies and work details.
