The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, attentive to detail, and understands that properly maintained equipment and consistent course conditions are essential to providing an excellent experience for our members and guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate large commercial mowers, including fairway, rough, greens, and other turf-maintenance equipment. Must be dependable and consistently report to scheduled shifts on time. Must be available to work weekdays and weekends, including early mornings as scheduled. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment when operating expensive equipment. Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work without constant supervision. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to recognize potential equipment problems preferred. Must demonstrate responsibility for the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment. Valid driver's license preferred. Golf course, landscaping, groundskeeping, farming, construction, or heavy-equipment experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in North Texas weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, bend, reach, walk over uneven terrain, and safely lift and carry approximately 50 pounds. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can be trusted with Tanglewood's equipment and property. Reliability, safety, good judgment, and proper equipment care are essential to this position. The right person understands that operating a mower is only part of the job—taking care of the equipment and leaving the golf course better than you found it are equally important.
