Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape and Snow Removal Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring safe, accessible environments during winter months. Duties Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and planting bed care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery safely and efficiently. Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper horticultural care and pest management practices are followed. Conduct snow removal operations using plows, shovels, salt spreaders, and other snow clearing equipment to maintain safe walkways and driveways during winter storms. Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through routine inspections and minor repairs. Follow all safety protocols diligently while operating equipment or working in outdoor environments to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with irrigation system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of landscaped areas. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating landscaping and groundskeeping equipment. Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and hardscape upkeep. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and gardening best practices. Experience with irrigation systems installation and repair to support healthy plant growth. Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Outdoor work experience with an emphasis on groundskeeping, tree trimming, lawn care, and seasonal snow removal. Familiarity with landscaping materials such as mulch, soil amendments, hardscape components, and gardening supplies.
