Duties Perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping and landscaping equipment, including power tools and irrigation systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently Conduct snow removal operations using appropriate tools and machinery to maintain clear pathways, parking lots, and access points during winter months Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, tree trimming, hardscape upkeep, and gardening to enhance outdoor aesthetics Identify various plants and trees to support horticulture efforts and ensure proper care and health of landscape features Manage pesticide application in accordance with safety protocols to protect plants from pests while safeguarding the environment Follow strict safety procedures during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations Support general shop maintenance duties including cleaning, organizing tools, inspecting equipment for repairs or replacements, and maintaining a safe work environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge paired with experience operating groundskeeping, landscaping, and grounds maintenance equipment Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape materials for effective outdoor project execution Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, pesticide management, and landscape design principles Experience with outdoor work environments across all seasons, demonstrating adaptability in various weather conditions Ability to perform tree trimming, lawn mowing, gardening tasks, and groundskeeping activities with precision and care Familiarity with safety protocols related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments to ensure personal and team safety Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks such as snow removal schedules, equipment maintenance logs, and landscaping projects Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
