Carpenter / Laborer

Job Overview Locally owned and operated out of Niagara County! We are a small exterior remodeling company looking for a motivated individual to join our team! Prior framing, or deck building experience is a plus but not mandatory as we provide on site training. Duties Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow. Operate basic tools and machinery such as hammers, drills, saws, and power tools with safety and precision. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to perform tasks like mixing concrete, installing fixtures, and building various decks/structures Adhere to safety protocols by wearing protective gear and maintaining a clean work environment to prevent accidents. Collaborate with team members to complete construction phases on time while maintaining quality standards. Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Support the transportation of materials around the site and assist in loading/unloading supplies as needed. Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license as a wok truck is provided for job site to job site transportation as well as for hauling trailers Proven physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction methods, tools, and safety procedures. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new techniques. Excellent attention to detail to follow instructions accurately and ensure quality work. Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
