Job Description

Sloan, we manufacture roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels for construction projects across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This role is ideal for someone who: Shows up every day ready to work Takes initiative and learns quickly Wants the opportunity to move into a Crew Lead position We provide hands-on training, but we expect a strong work ethic and a commitment to improvement. Key Responsibilities Assemble roof trusses and wall panels using lumber and pneumatic tools Read and follow production layouts and instructions Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Maintain quality standards and meet production goals Support team members and communicate effectively with supervisors 1st and 2nd shifts available What We're Looking For Consistent attendance and reliability (this is critical) Strong work ethic and willingness to be held accountable Ability to work at a steady, fast pace Comfort using tools (hammer, nail gun, clamps) and production equipment Desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time Previous truss or framing experience is a plus, but not required Growth Opportunity High-performing employees have the opportunity to advance into Crew Lead roles , with increased responsibility, pay, and leadership within the plant. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Handle lumber (2x4 through 2x10 up to 16 ft) Work on your feet in a production environment Pay & Schedule $18.00
