Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter in the Wyoming Valley Area to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing, commercial doors and door hardware (locks, exits, closers, hinges, doors, access control, etc.). Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic quality of various building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, from schools, universities, colleges, hospitals, multi family housing, utilizing your carpentry skills to install or repair door hardware. Main office is in Kingston, PA Duties Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Drive company transit van to job sites for installs or repairs. Coordinate with company employees and customer for install schedule and proper paperwork. Requirements Proven 1-3 years of experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry especially doors and door hardware Skilled in the use of hand tools such as tape measures, levels, chisels, saws, hammers, as well as power tools like drills and saws. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate construction work. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical instructions accurately. Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards; familiarity with schematics and technical plans is a plus.
