Experienced Residential Remodeling Carpenter BT Home Improvements, LLC. Perkasie, PA 18944 $28-$40 per hour | Full-Time About the Position BT Home Improvements is a residential remodeling company specializing in high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks, and whole-home renovations throughout Montgomery and Bucks Counties. We are looking for an experienced remodeling carpenter who can join our crew and contribute immediately. This is not an entry-level position. You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you should have solid residential remodeling experience and be comfortable completing common carpentry and remodeling tasks with limited supervision. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, works efficiently, thinks ahead, and respects the fact that we are working in customers' homes. What You'll Be Doing Depending on the project, your work may include: Interior and exterior framing Finish and trim carpentry Door and window installation Cabinet installation Bathroom and kitchen remodeling Deck construction Drywall installation and repairs Demolition and preparation Light plumbing and electrical-related remodeling work Jobsite protection, setup, cleanup, and organization Because we handle complete remodeling projects, the work is varied. We are looking for someone who is comfortable moving between different phases of a project rather than performing one repetitive task every day.

Required Experience Applicants should have:

At least 3 years of professional residential remodeling or carpentry experience ( At least 3 years of professional residential remodeling experience. General labor, property maintenance, apartment maintenance, and unrelated construction experience alone do not meet this requirement. ) Experience safely using common carpentry and power tools The ability to complete common remodeling tasks without constant supervision Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license A tool belt and basic hand tools The ability to reliably travel to job sites throughout Montgomery and Bucks Counties and occasionally surrounding areas Strong experience in several of the following is preferred: Finish and trim carpentry Door and window installation Cabinet installation Framing Bathroom remodeling Kitchen remodeling Drywall Deck construction Basic plumbing Basic electrical The Person We're Looking For Skill matters, but so does how you work.
