Primary Responsibilities & Duties Knowledge and experience of various types of pipe and pipe systems, including flanged, mechanical, socket welded, threaded, grooved and fused joint systems. Measurement, fabrication, preparation and installation of piping systems. Positioning, supporting, and anchoring pipe and equipment components. Hydro testing of pipe systems. Handling and securely rigging pipe and equipment. Layout, install, and anchor equipment, skids, tanks, pumps, and pipe supports. Determine types, sizes, material thicknesses, and quantities of materials to be installed. Operate tools and equipment including pipe threaders, cut-off grinders and saws, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, saw-zall, etc. Qualifications Strong working knowledge, skills, and abilities for responsibilities and duties. Ability to follow and communicate instructions. Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools. Additional Information Full time, typically 8-hr shifts Monday - Friday. Prevailing Wage including fringe benefits (healthcare, dental, 401k).
