About the Role The General Laborer supports the on-site assembly and completion of factory-built modular homes. This position assists with module connections, sealing and taping seams, floor transitions, rough carpentry, and other general construction tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor. 3. Key Responsibilities What will this person do on a typical day?

• Assist with "buttoning up" and completing connections between modular home sections.
• Tape and seal seams between modules to ensure proper finishing and weather-tight connections.
• Install and complete floor transitions between modules and finished flooring areas.
• Perform rough carpentry tasks as needed during on-site assembly.
• Assist other trades and crew members with general construction and installation tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and tools around the job site.
• Follow project plans, instructions, and direction from the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Safely use common hand and power tools.
• Identify and report construction issues or damaged materials to the Site Supervisor.
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete module connections, including "buttoning up" areas between modules. 2. Tape and seal module seams and complete floor transitions. 3. Perform rough carpentry and other general construction tasks. 4. Support the Site Supervisor and other trades to keep the project moving safely and efficiently. Required Qualifications Must Have

• Basic construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic rough carpentry and construction tasks.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a construction crew.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work on active construction sites.
• Ability to follow direction from the Site Supervisor (Foreman or Superintendent). Nice to Have
• Experience with modular, manufactured, or factory-built home construction.
• Previous rough carpentry experience.
• Experience with flooring transitions, seam taping, or construction finishing.
• Experience working in residential construction.
• Familiarity with construction plans and basic building practices.

Additional Information This is an on-site position supporting the assembly and completion of factory-built modularhomes. The position may involve working both indoors and outdoors and may require lifting materials, working from ladders, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in partially completed structures. All work must be performed in accordance with company safety procedures, project requirements, and applicable codes

Pay:

$18.00 - $32.55 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
