SUMMARY The Construction Laborer is an entry-level construction position that supports field operations across various construction trades. Depending on business needs, experience, and skill level, employees may be assigned to areas including electrical, plumbing, excavation, steel, tile/masonry, clean-up, or other construction-related work. This position requires significant physical labor and may include preparing and maintaining work areas, handling materials and tools, loading and unloading supplies, assisting skilled tradespeople, removing hazards and debris, and assembling or disassembling worksite equipment. The Construction Laborer performs assigned work safely, efficiently, and professionally while supporting the overall progress of the jobsite.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties and responsibilities of this position include: Receives direction from Leads, Assistants, Superintendents, and other designated supervisory personnel. Assists skilled tradespeople with construction activities and assigned tasks. Performs general construction labor and trade-related duties based on assigned crew and project needs. Loads, unloads, moves, organizes, and prepares tools, equipment, and construction materials. Sets up and prepares jobsites for work. May perform tasks such as digging, trenching, demolition, material preparation, jobsite clean-up, and other physical construction activities as assigned. Supplies, holds, stages, and prepares materials and tools for other crew members. Assists with the setup, use, care, and breakdown of construction tools and equipment within the employee's level of training and authorization. Maintains clean, safe, and orderly jobsites, work areas, equipment, and company vehicles. Helps track tools and equipment and ensures items are properly stored and returned after use. Identifies and removes debris, hazards, and other obstructions from the work area. Follows instructions, construction plans, established procedures, and applicable safety requirements associated with assigned work. Performs work across different construction trades or crews as assigned based on project and staffing needs. Performs special assignments and other construction-related duties as required. Complies with company policies, employee handbook requirements, and all applicable safety procedures. Properly uses required personal protective equipment and safety equipment. Participates in continuing education and training offered by Aquatic Technologies. Reports unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, equipment concerns, or crew misconduct to appropriate supervision. Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality. Works cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, customers, and other jobsite personnel.Requirements:

No prior construction or trade experience required. Previous construction or trade experience is preferred but not required. Willingness and ability to learn construction methods, tools, equipment, and safety procedures. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strength and stamina necessary to perform physical construction work. Basic mechanical aptitude. Good coordination and manual dexterity. Basic organizational skills. Effective oral communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a crew. Ability to adapt to different assignments, crews, trades, and jobsites. Ability to maintain productivity and help keep work progressing. Basic critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use appropriate tools and equipment after receiving required instruction or training. Competence in properly using required personal protective equipment. Ability to responsibly use a smartphone and/or tablet as required for work. Ability to drive company vehicles when authorized and when the employee meets company driving requirements.Benefits
