Position Overview The Airport Construction Skilled Laborer serves as a critical member of the field operations team responsible for supporting the successful execution of commercial and aviation construction projects. This individual performs skilled construction tasks, supports airport logistics operations, assists with material handling and site safety, and helps maintain the pace and quality standards that define US Construction Corp. The ideal candidate understands that working in an active airport environment requires professionalism, flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and security. Responsibilities Construction Operations

• Perform skilled construction tasks including:
• Framing
• Drywall installation and repair
• Finish carpentry
• Millwork installation
• Ceiling systems
• Tile work
• Painting and touch-up work
• Demolition and site preparation
• Assist with temporary wall installations and airport protection systems.
• Complete punch list and closeout activities.
• Support material deliveries and staging activities.
• Maintain the highest level of workmanship and quality standards. Airport Logistics & Coordination
• Assist with airport material deliveries and logistics planning.
• Support movement of materials through secure and operational airport areas.
• Coordinate with field supervision regarding airport access restrictions.
• Assist with maintaining organized staging and storage areas.
• Help minimize disruptions to airport operations, tenants, and passengers.
• Follow all airport security, escorting, and badging requirements. Safety & Compliance
• Follow all OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify and report safety concerns immediately.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Support USCC's commitment to incident-free projects. Teamwork & Communication
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, trade partners, and fellow laborers.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Maintain a professional attitude and positive work ethic.
• Communicate effectively regarding work progress, concerns, and jobsite needs.
• Represent US Construction Corp. professionally at all times. Qualifications Required
• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience performing skilled labor tasks in commercial construction environments.
• Ability to safely operate common construction tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety requirements.
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings, sketches, and field instructions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and off-hours when required by airport operations and project schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Preferred
• Experience working at Miami International Airport (MIA) or other active airport facilities.
• Experience working within occupied commercial environments.
• Knowledge of airport construction logistics and operational restrictions.
• Familiarity with Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) requirements.
• OSHA certification.
• Experience supporting fast-track renovation and tenant improvement projects. Airport Access Requirements
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Miami International Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.
• Must be eligible to obtain access credentials for restricted airport areas, including areas governed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) when required by project assignments.
• Must successfully satisfy all airport background screening, security vetting, and badging requirements.
• Must have a driving and background history that permits access to secured airport facilities as required by applicable airport regulations.
