Full-Time / Part-Time HTH Engineering is seeking an Architectural Drafter with experience preparing residential construction drawings and working with the Florida Building Code. The ideal candidate can develop accurate plans, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and help move projects through permitting. Responsibilities Prepare and revise architectural drawings for new homes, additions, and residential renovations. Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, site plans, and construction details. Prepare drawing sets for permit submittal and construction. Apply applicable Florida Building Code requirements to residential plans. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans. Review field measurements, surveys, and existing conditions for accuracy. Assist with responses to building department comments and revise plans as needed. Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and permitting staff. Maintain organized drawing files and track revisions. Qualifications Experience drafting residential projects in Florida. Working knowledge of the Florida Building Code and residential permitting requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus. Ability to read and coordinate architectural and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
