Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and play a vital role in bringing building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople with a variety of tasks that keep projects moving forward. Whether you're involved in concrete work, framing, or finishing touches, your contribution is essential to creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently for tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing. Support carpenters and masons by installing rebar, constructing formwork, framing with metal studs or wood, and executing masonry tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Perform concrete-related tasks including formwork construction, pouring, finishing, cutting, and stucco application. Help with heavy lifting of materials like concrete blocks or steel components while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in renovation and restoration projects by applying skills in drywall installation, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, and trim carpentry. Qualifications Previous experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to operating tools and equipment such as concrete mixers and heavy machinery is advantageous. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading enhances your ability to contribute effectively. Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations is essential for maintaining a safe job site. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely; experience with rebar installation, concrete pouring/finishing, framing, masonry or tile laying is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to ensure project compliance. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on-site for extended periods; willingness to adapt to various weather conditions.
