Landscape Construction crew lead

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Construction Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate landscape construction projects from start to finish. In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of skilled workers, ensuring that all landscaping, construction, and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Supervise and direct landscape construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely project completion Oversee landscape installation activities including planting, grading, paving, irrigation setup, and hardscape construction Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and project managers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly Conduct inspections of ongoing work to maintain high-quality landscaping, lawn care, tree care, gardening, and horticulture standards Lead by example in maintaining equipment, tools, and materials in excellent condition for optimal performance Provide training and mentorship to crew members on best practices in landscaping, construction techniques, and safety procedures Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or construction projects with a focus on outdoor environments Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or horticultural setting Strong knowledge of lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and general horticulture practices Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training are a plus Join us if you're passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces!
