San Diego, CA A well-established and growing Owner Builder Developer is seeking an Assistant Superintendent with experience in ground-up multifamily construction to join their team in the San Diego area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale projects with a company that offers a strong pipeline and long-term stability. Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent will support the Lead Superintendent in managing daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily projects Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed per schedule Help enforce job site safety standards and company policies Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications Support scheduling and sequencing of trades Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates Assist with inspections and project closeout Qualifications 2-5+ years of construction experience, with multifamily ground-up projects Experience supporting a Superintendent on active job sites Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong communication and leadership skills What's Offered Strong compensation package Comprehensive health benefits Generous allowances and additional perks Opportunity to grow with a reputable and expanding General Contractor
