The challenge you'll solve Luxury outdoor structures are only "luxury" when the details hold up, the site runs clean, and the crew executes with consistency. Your job is to lead the carpentry and structures work so it gets built right the first time, on schedule, safely, and with craftsmanship you'd proudly sign your name to. What you'll do Lead daily jobsite execution, crew performance, safety, cleanliness, and jobsite organization Plan and run daily and weekly production with clear goals and checkpoints Execute and oversee structural and finish carpentry scopes, including: Layout and build of pergolas, pavilions, and outdoor structures Framing, blocking, and structural tie-ins Decking systems, stairs, and rail systems (where applicable) Outdoor kitchen installation (framing, finishes, fit-up, and coordination of site readiness) Hardware and fastening systems (hangers, straps, anchors, structural screws) Exterior trim, cladding, and finish details with consistent reveals Own on-site quality control and punch prevention, build it right the first time Manage labor, materials, and waste to protect schedule and margin Support the broader Construction Division as needed (site prep, equipment operation when authorized, logistics, and other outdoor living scopes) What we're looking for 5+ years in carpentry and structures (leadership experience preferred) Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and materials Strong plan reading, layout, and field problem-solving A craftsperson's mindset (tolerances matter, details matter, durability matters) Proven ability to lead people, set pace, and hold standards Safety-first mindset, valid driver's license, reliable transportation How you win here (and how you get paid more) This role is built around a scorecard performance program .
