Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage HVAC systems installation for new construction commercial projects, from pre-construction to final commissioning. Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and budgets. Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope. Review contracts, submittals, and change orders to ensure accurate project scope and cost management. Supervise and direct installation teams, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor job site progress, conduct regular site visits, and resolve on-site issues in collaboration with the field team. Lead project meetings, providing updates and resolving challenges as they arise. Ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, specifically in new construction and large commercial projects. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, installation processes, and industry best practices. Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex projects. Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and submittals. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. HVAC-related certifications (EPA, NATE, etc.) preferred.Compensation:
