full-time Superintendent - Multifamily Construction Charlotte, NC $120,000-$140,000 + Bonus, Vehicle Allowance & Benefits An established $500M+ regional general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a major multifamily project in Charlotte. The company has experienced significant growth across the Southeast and offers a strong pipeline of work. Multifamily construction is its primary focus, supported by additional projects across the commercial, interiors, and renovation sectors. The Role You will take full ownership of day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and project teams to deliver the project safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manage all daily construction activity on site Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and field personnel Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term look-ahead plans Lead site meetings and communicate progress to the project team Enforce safety procedures and quality-control standards Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance Manage site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor performance Identify and resolve field issues before they affect the schedule Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily projects Strong knowledge of wood-frame or podium construction Experience delivering large, complex projects from sitework through completion Excellent subcontractor coordination and schedule-management skills Strong understanding of safety, quality, and construction best practices Confident leadership and clear communication Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications OSHA 30 certification preferred Experience with Procore or similar construction-management software is advantageous The Package Base salary of $120,000-$140,000, depending on experience Performance-related bonus Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Comprehensive healthcare benefits Retirement plan Paid time off Long-term career progression Strong regional project pipeline This is an opportunity to join a growing contractor offering the resources of a large business alongside a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.
