Construction Administrators play a vital role in keeping building projects moving smoothly from start to finish. About the opportunity This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Construction Administrator positions across the United States. Roles of this type typically sit at the center of day-to-day project execution, working directly with field teams, contractors, architects, engineers and project managers to keep construction sequences on track and within budget. You would support the delivery of projects from mobilization through substantial completion, coordinating activities across multiple trades and ensuring that safety, quality and schedule remain aligned throughout the build. 2-5 years in construction coordination or site management What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Coordinating daily field activities and construction sequencing to meet project schedules Maintaining accurate site logs, progress documentation and photographic records Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company safety protocols Managing submittals, RFIs and change order documentation Tracking project budgets, spending and cost control within your areas of responsibility Communicating project status, issues and updates to the project manager, contractors and stakeholders Coordinating deliveries, material staging and site logistics Supporting quality inspections and punch list management Liaising between office and field teams to resolve on-site challenges What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 2-5 years of experience in construction coordination, site administration or construction management Knowledge of construction safety standards and compliance requirements Experience managing construction schedules, sequencing and timelines Familiarity with construction documentation, submittals and change order processes Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment Proficiency in project management tools (such as Jira) and Microsoft Office A high school diploma or equivalent; construction management education or relevant certification is preferred Authorization to work in the United States What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Direct involvement in planning and executing construction projects from start to finish Hands-on experience managing schedules, budgets and stakeholder relationships Exposure to multiple trades, building methods and construction technologies Potential for career progression toward senior coordinator, assistant project manager or project engineer roles Opportunity to develop expertise in specialized sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure) Competitive compensation, benefits such as health insurance, paid time off and professional development support A dynamic work environment that balances field and office responsibilities About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group connects talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities across multiple industries.
