This role offers the opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines, perform skilled field work, and mentor the next generation of tradespeople through hands-on apprentice training. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, advanced estimating capabilities, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. This is a working management position requiring both office/project management responsibilities and active field participation. The successful candidate must hold a current Washington State Journeyman Plumber (PL01) License. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction and plumbing projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Perform accurate project estimating, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project timelines. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project requirements and compliance with specifications. Utilize construction management software for scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and reporting. Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained. Perform skilled plumbing field work as needed, including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and system modifications. Train, mentor, and supervise plumbing apprentices through hands-on field instruction while ensuring compliance with Washington State apprenticeship standards and licensing requirements. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize project profitability. Monitor project progress through detailed project scheduling and regular site inspections; adjust plans proactively as needed. Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiencies, field productivity, and estimating accuracy. Skills & Qualifications Current Washington State Journeyman Plumber (PL01) License required. Extensive experience with construction estimating, project management methodologies, and construction site operations. Proven ability to perform high-level skilled plumbing work in commercial and/or industrial environments. Experience leading and training apprentices and field crews in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency in industry-standard software and construction management tools. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Deep understanding of contracts, legal considerations in construction projects, and compliance standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. Proven track record in project coordination within the construction or plumbing sectors; familiarity with heavy civil or infrastructure projects is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams, subcontractors, and client relationships. Ability to lead teams on-site while maintaining a focus on safety, quality assurance, and craftsmanship.
