Overview We are looking for a Pool Construction Field Coordinator to serve as our primary quality checkpoint, customer liaison, and logistics handler across our regional projects. Unlike a traditional project manager, you will not be responsible for bidding jobs or balancing the master subcontractor schedule. Instead, your mission is to be our "eyes and ears" on-site: watching the work as it happens, ensuring it matches our high-quality standards, navigating township permit compliance, and facilitating seamless daily communication between our clients and the office and managing customer expectations. This position is heavily field-based, requiring daily travel within a 60-mile radius of Linfield, PA using a provided company car. Key Responsibilities Blueprint & Engineering Literacy:

Read, interpret, and thoroughly understand construction blueprints and site plan designs to verify that field layouts perfectly match engineering specifications.

Quality Control & Change Orders:

Visit active residential job sites daily to observe subcontractors (excavation, steel, plumbing, shotcrete, tile, etc.). Monitor for any custom field changes. You have the authority and responsibility to

for any unapproved deviations and report back to the office to initiate a formal Change Order.

Material Curing Oversight:

Monitor structural phases and demonstrate a firm understanding of hydration and curing schedules for gunite shells, concrete decks, and interior plaster finishes so phases are never rushed.

Township & Engineering Communication:

Maintain regular, professional communication with municipal building departments, township personnel, and engineering inspectors. Schedule required inspections (steel, plumbing pressure, bonding, etc.) and handle minor issues directly with inspectors on-site.

Equipment Protection & Weather Monitoring:

Assure that all delivered pool equipment (pumps, heaters, filters) and parts are kept properly stored, protected from elements, and safe out of the way of homeowners. Monitor local forecasts to proactively protect and secure open excavations or curing materials before foul weather hits.

Pool Chemistry Management:

Oversee or assist with critical initial pool startup phases, maintaining a basic understanding of water chemistry balance (pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness) to protect brand-new plaster surfaces.

Customer & Office Liaison:

Talk with homeowners face-to-face daily on-site to provide clear, polite updates. Maintain excellent, transparent communication by relaying client feedback to the office daily. Assess site cleanliness and coordinate with the office to dispatch the Field Assistant/truck for site cleanups and deliveries.

Required Experience & Skills Pool Industry Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience around pool construction sites. You must know what a properly built pool looks like.

Blueprint Reading:

Demonstrated ability to work directly off construction blueprints and engineering drawings.

Communication Excellence:

Outstanding interpersonal skills; comfortable and professional when talking to custom pool clients daily.

Clean Driving Record:

A valid driver's license and a clean record are mandatory to operate the company car. Have a clear understanding of building material and selections.

Equipment Knowledge:

A general understanding of pool equipment (specifically Pentair systems), water chemistry, and curing requirements (gunite, concrete, plaster) is highly preferred; however, we are fully willing to provide technical training on these subjects for the right candidate.
