POSITION SUMMARY
Dominium is seeking a highly motivated individual with construction administration experience to support Architecture and Construction teams at our office located in Dallas, TX. An ideal candidate would have background in multi-family new construction and renovation projects. Experience working on tax-credit housing projects with housing agencies is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists Architectural and quality control staff with: Reviews of construction documents submitted by internal and external design teams for constructability and conformance with Dominium standards. Aids in review of submittals and RFIs as requested Assists in the creation of new standards items as requested. Documentation of Dominium design and construction standards. Coordinates with third-party consultants for quality control reviews and field testing. Assists Architectural team's project managers with construction administration tasks, including: Attends at project kick-off meetings. Virtually participates in pre-installation conferences, review submittals and RFIs regarding Dominium Standards items. Works with and advises project teams in a collaborative and professional manner Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.) Certificate in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field•or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience CSI Construction Contract Administration (CCCA) certification preferred Experience supporting construction administration within an architecture, engineering, or construction environment, including collaboration with internal teams and external consultants. Experience working with housing agencies, familiarity with tax credit housing and multi-family new construction and renovation projects preferred. Strong ability to read, interpret, and navigate construction documents across multiple disciplines Ability to develop and communicate rough detail sketches for integration into Revit models. Proficiency with industry-standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Bluebeam Revu and Procore or similar construction management platforms. Strong communication skills•with the ability to effectively convey Owner standards and maintain professionalism in complex or high-stakes situations. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accurate documentation.
