Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Core Drilling Operator to join our drill team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy drilling equipment to perform core drilling operations essential for mining exploration. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and accurate drilling processes that meet project specifications and safety standards. Duties Operate core drilling machinery and related heavy equipment, including excavators, water trucks, and other construction vehicles Set up and calibrate drilling rigs according to project requirements and safety protocols Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow MSHA standards and company safety procedures at all times during operations Assist with site preparation, including excavation, trenching, and material handling using appropriate machinery Collaborate with team members to coordinate drilling activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, forklifts, water trucks Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs and associated machinery Knowledge of MSHA safety standards applicable to construction sites and heavy equipment operation Strong understanding of construction site protocols, including excavation safety and equipment handling Valid commercial driver's license
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
