Job Summary:
Redwood Beverage Group LLC are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and PLC-controlled machinery within our West Sacramento Facility. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and supporting electrical equipment and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities >>Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment, including but not limited to the following: AS-I Net Conductivity Meters Device Net Flow Meters Fill Level Detection Label Presence High Speed Coders HMIs I/P Transducers Level Transmitters PLC Controllers
PLC I/O PID
Loops RTD/Thermocouple Valve Positioners VFDs X-ray Product Inspection >>Diagnose and repair faults in PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. >>Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings. >>Perform Electrical and Mechanical preventative maintenance inspections and corrective work orders to ensure maximum equipment up time. >>Install, program, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for precise motor control and energy efficiency. >>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and continuous operational improvements. >>Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Arc Flash, and relevant electrical codes. >>Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks and detailed pass down logs.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in High-Speed Manufacturing. Proven experience with troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of the above-mentioned electrical components and systems. Demonstrated high level of experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting VFDs. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase circuits, and 3-phase electrical motor coil evaluation and diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to down equipment calls immediately.
