Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and facilities. Your expertise will ensure electrical safety, compliance with codes, and the seamless operation of complex electrical systems in diverse environments. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial settings Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to accurately execute wiring and system layouts Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and maintain industrial electrical systems safely and efficiently Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation and repair tasks on construction sites or renovation projects Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques Commercial electrician experience working on diverse projects including renovations, new installations, or construction sites Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes Hands-on experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate wiring layouts Skilled in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems Ability to perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely on construction or renovation sites Experience using testing instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for diagnostics Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures related to electrical work Handyman skills or general construction experience are considered a plus for versatile troubleshooting Join us to be part of a team that values your technical expertise and commitment to safety.
