STONE AND TILE ESTIMATOR

Jobdescription We are a Stone Fabrication company and we are seeking an Project Estimator with Multi Family home experience. The ideal candidate has background in countertop and tile, can work with minimal supervision, adapt to a busy work environment, and has the "go getter" attitude to accomplish goals and deadlines.

POSITION SUMMARY

Analyzes blueprints to prepare Accurate, Specific & Timely take offs using estimating software. Material, labor, equipment, tools, transportation costs, overhead, taxes, insurance, markup and any other costs that may affect the bid need to be taken into consideration. Conducts site visits of the proposed project when necessary. Gathers information on access to site and availability of equipment, electricity, water, and other services. Records information developed during site visits and create Site Inspection Reports which will be made as an integral part of the final Project Estimate. Gathers vendor pricing and lead time for materials, to assure the Best Pricing available. Generates RFI's as needed to create an accurate bid. Discusses prices and specifications with ECI sales team to help win the project. Works with sales team on finding a way to win the bid, and communicate with customers if needed. Works with and assist sales team to assure customer satisfaction on all aspects of the project Reviews scope of work on awarded contracts to assure smooth hand off to production. Schedules Hand-Off meeting with production. Creates, follow, and close change orders to make sure that no money is lost on the project. Assists in creation of estimating and sales spreadsheets and matrixes. Maintains personal calendars, tasks, and participate in team meetings.
