is seeking a motivated, highly organized team player to join our Estimating Department in the NJ/NY Metro area. If you're passionate about construction, eager to gain hands-on experience, and ready to grow your career, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Analyze project documents for risk, schedule, and profitability. Review plans/specs and prepare complete, accurate bid proposals. Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, subcontractors, and crews. Compare current bids to historical data and manage post-bid documentation. Build and manage project budgets and documentation. Communicate with owners, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Visit project sites to evaluate methods and progress. Requirements To be considered, preferred applicants should present the following: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Proven track record estimating civil projects up to $50M. Experience with larger projects ($100M+) is preferred. Skilled in construction means/methods and production for structures, roadways, sitework, and utilities. Experience with trackwork is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail. 10+ years in Estimating/Project Management. Proficient in Excel, Word, Blue Beam, Heavy Bid. Ability to deliver winning, value-driven bids. Knowledge of union agreements is a plus. Experience with alternate delivery methods (e.g. Design Build) is a plus.
