Job Description Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid preparation for commercial construction projects. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements. Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing proposals. Support the preconstruction team with budgeting, value engineering, and cost analysis activities. Maintain and organize estimating databases, project records, and bid documentation. Participate in project handoff meetings and collaborate with operations teams. Help prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for ground-up and renovation projects. Work closely with senior estimators and leadership to develop estimating best practices and technical expertise. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: 0-3 years of construction experience, including internships, co-ops, field experience, subcontractor experience, or design-related construction exposure. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will also be considered. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Highly coachable with a desire to build a long-term career in estimating and preconstruction. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or Destini Estimator is a plus but not required.
